Thai Beverage Plc (ThaiBev), Thailand's largest largest beverage company, looks to aggressively increase business by mergers and acquisitions abroad. Chief executive Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi said ThaiBev looks at the Vietnamese market where government is going to privatize leading beer companies Saigon Beer Alcohol Beverage Corporation (Sabeco) and Hanoi Beer Alcohol and Beverage Corporation (Habeco).
Apart from the two breweries ThaiBev is also aiming to increase its stake in Vinamilk, the largest dairy company in Vietnam.
