Canada: US President Trump teased with Fake News Ale

A new Canadian beer featuring the portrait of Donald Trump on the can will most likely not please the US President. The beer is called Fake News Ale and sells with the slogan “Make beer great again.”

The mild 5 percent ABV ale is produced by Toronto-based Northern Maverick Brewing Co. and is the first beer in a planned series of charitable beers. 5% from every can sold will be given to “help reverse a questionable policy." Consumer can nominate on the brewer’s <link http: www.northernmaverick.ca>website in the coming weeks which charities will receive the proceeds.

Jason Kaptyn, founder and owner of Northern Maverick describes the beer as “an easy-drinking beer,” perfect for “long discussions over world events with friends,” And he goes on to say that his “sessions-able ale pairs well with: small hands, striking comb overs, HUUUGE egos and all things Mexican. We stand in solidarity with our American neighbors in their time of need for beer.” But Kaptyn makes also clear, that “clearly no American president has endorsed this beer!”
