China: Asia`s leading beverage fair postponed for the second time

China Brew China Beverage (CBB), Asia's leading platform for the beverage and liquid food industry, has been postponed again. “Given the current pandemic situation in Guangzhou,” the organizers, China Light Industry Machinery Association, China National United Equipment Group Co., and Messe Muenchen Shanghai Co., Ltd. announced this week, that the fair will be postponed to an indefinite date. It was originally planned to have the next CBB again in Shanghai in 2024.

The very strict quarantine regulations in China to contain the corona virus currently make it almost impossible to organize major events with international participation.

The fair was originally scheduled on October 12-15, 2022 in Shanghai but was rescheduled in September to November 23-26, 2022 at China Import and Export Complex (Area B), Pazhou, Guangzhou to “guarantee the health and interests of all exhibitors and visitors and ensure a better exhibition and visiting experience.”

Since the foundation in 1995, the International Brew & Beverage Technology and Equipment Exhibition for China (China Brew China Beverage - CBB) is the most important and massively influential event for liquid food machinery in the Asian brew and beverage industry. CBB is oriented towards the growing market in Asian-Pacific region and showcases the most updated packaging equipment and technological know-how to provide participants an unique business platform.

The fair traditionally takes place every two years. In 2020, due to COVID19, the trade fair was mainly nationally oriented, but 101 exhibitors of international origin took part.
