After more than 15 years of dedicated service, Dr. Gerrit Blümelhuber has concluded his impactful career at Doemens Academy. Renowned for his leadership roles as Deputy CEO and Head of the Consulting, Seminars, and Laboratory Division, Dr. Blümelhuber has also been a respected lecturer and consultant. The accomplished engineer in brewing and beverage technology has forged an extensive network within the brewing and beverage industry, both within Germany and globally. He is widely acknowledged for his innovative mindset, strategic management skills, and entrepreneurial approach.
Dr. Blümelhuber played a pivotal role in establishing the state-of-the-art pilot plant facilities at the new Doemens Academy. His efforts have significantly contributed to the institution's growth and technological advancements.
As of October 31st, Dr. Blümelhuber completed his tenure at Doemens Academy. In preparation for his departure, he spent over a year guiding his successor, Lukas Schappals, the former laboratory manager, equipping him with the knowledge and expertise needed for his new role. Starting November 1st, Lukas Schappals will officially lead the Consulting, Laboratory, and Technical Services Department.
