Germany: Largest brewing fair opens its doors

BrauBeviale 2019, this year’s most important capital goods exhibition for the beverage industry will open its doors on Tuesday in Nuremberg, Germany. For three days more than 1,000 exhibitors - more than half of them from outside Germany - will present in nine exhibition halls their products and solutions related to the entire beverage production process chain. Offerings will range from raw materials to technologies and components all the way to packaging, as well as accessories and marketing ideas.

Andrea Kalrait, Show Director BrauBeviale, hopes to welcome again about 40,000 trade visitors like last year, when 5 percent more visitors came to Nuremberg compared to 2016 (inside.beer, 16.11.2018). In 2017, like every four years, the fair paused when Drinktec, an even bigger event for the industry, took place in Munich.

As in the years before, BrauBeviale will also support several side programs.

One day earlier, on Monday, the VLB in Berlin will hold its 7th European MicroBrew Symposium at the Nürnberg Convention Center on the trade fair ground.

The same day also at the Nürnberg Convention Center the 4th Export Forum German Beverages will discuss ways of successfully exporting beverages in a globalized world.

As in the years before, The European Beer Star, one of the most challenging competitions for the brewing industry worldwide will be awarded again in a ceremony during the fair (inside.beer, 6.11.2019).
