Hijos de Rivera, the renowned Galician brewery known for its flagship brand Estrella Galicia, has announced its acquisition of a stake in the Valencian craft beer company Tyris. This strategic move marks Hijos de Rivera's continued expansion within the craft beer sector, enhancing its diverse portfolio and strengthening its position in the Spanish beer market.

Founded in 2009, Tyris has established itself as a leading craft brewery in Valencia, celebrated for its innovative and high-quality brews. By 2024, Tyris aims to produce over 500,000 liters of beer and achieve a turnover of EUR 1.7 million. Additionally, Tyris operates "Tyris on Tap," a venue located in central Valencia where customers can enjoy a variety of their beers along with a diverse gastronomic offering.

The new partnership aims to leverage Tyris's local expertise and Hijos de Rivera's extensive distribution network to boost both brands' market presence and is expected to create significant synergies, combining Tyris's creativity and brewing innovation with Hijos de Rivera's robust operational capabilities and market reach.

The partnership will facilitate the expansion of Tyris's production capacity and distribution channels, potentially introducing their distinctive beers to a broader audience both within Spain and internationally.
