Dr. Franz Götz, longstanding head of the malting business unit of the Bühler Group will resign on his own request from his role as Managing Director and will assume the role as Key Account and Relationship Manager for the Business Area Grain Quality & Supply as of April 1, 2019.
Götz has been engaged with the malting industry since 2001. In 2011 he took over the position of head of business unit Malting in the area of expertise grain logistics and malting and also merged the unit Brewing end of 2017 into the newly formed business unit Malting & Brewing.
Manuel Kindle who joined Bühler in 2012 and served as Head of Customer Service will succeed Götz as the new head of business unit Malting & Brewing of the Bühler Group as of April 1, 2019.

The business unit grain logistics has its competence center at the site of the previous Schmidt-Seeger plant in Beilngries, north of Munich. Since the acquisition by Bühler in September 2010 the company operates exclusively under the name Bühler.
Effective January 1, 2013, Bühler concentrated the core functions of its malting market segment, which were formerly located at its two German sites in Braunschweig and Beilngries at the headquarters of its grain logistics business unit in Beilngries. Production at the Braunschweig site has been converted into a group-wide competence center for stainless steel production.
The Bühler Malting business unit specializes in the design and construction of industrial-scale malting systems with integrated logistics and automation solutions. The service portfolio encompasses the building, expansion and modernization of malting plants, including silo facilities, and systems for grain cleaning, conveying, drying, dedusting, ship loading and unloading.
