Tilray Brands is beginning to integrate its American craft beer portfolio into the UK market, utilizing the network of bars it acquired from BrewDog earlier this year (inside.beer, 03.03.2026). As of this week, 24 different stock keeping units from nine of Tilray’s US-based labels are available on draught across the Scottish brewer’s remaining UK outlets and via its online shop.
The launch includes products from 10 Barrel Brewing Co., Alpine Beer Co., Blue Point Brewing Co., Green Flash Brewing Co., Montauk Brewing Co., Runner’s High Brewing Co., Shock Top, Sweetwater Brewing Co., and Terrapin Beer Co. To support the rollout, BrewDog is offering curated US beer flights, a move designed to introduce British consumers to these specific American styles.
Rajnish Ohri, President of International at Tilray, described the launch as a milestone in the company’s global strategy. The collaboration serves as an initial phase of a broader plan to expand these brands into UK grocery and other on-trade channels. Furthermore, the company stated that it aims to eventually move production of these American brands to BrewDog’s flagship brewery in Ellon, Scotland.
This expansion follows the challenging acquisition of BrewDog’s UK assets for GBP 33 million (USD 44 million), which occurred after the Scottish brewer entered pre-pack administration. While Tilray works to stabilize its international beverage operations, it is simultaneously refining its North American portfolio. Reports confirmed this week that Tilray has divested Atwater Brewery, selling the business back to its original founder, Mark Rieth, less than two years after acquiring it from Molson Coors (inside.beer, 5.6.2026).
