Last month several users addressed Google concerning it’s burger emoji, which had its ingredients “out of order”. Google’s burger went bun, lettuce, tomato, patty, cheese, bun, but people claimed that in every hamburger the cheese was on top of the patty and not underneath.
Being directly approached via twitter on Tuesday Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai said they’d drop everything and make this burger their top priority.
Well, Pichai has delivered as promised, and now the latest burger emoji in the updated Android 8.1 version, which will be released in the next days, has the cheese placed on top of the patty. Moreover, Google has also fixed the beer emoji that has been irking people for the longest time.
Up to now, Google’s beer emoji showed two half full beer mugs frothing over, a rather unrealistic scenario. The new emoji shows correctly filled beer mugs with a fine foaming head.
User reacted enthusiastically about the changes saying “the nightmare was over.”
