USA: Pabst Brewing strikes distribution deal with New Holland

Pabst Brewing Company, a holding company of over two dozen brands of beer but without own production facilities, is partnering with New Holland Brewing Company for the national distribution of their full portfolio of beer.

The twenty year old craft brewer will remain independent and will continue to brew its beer in Holland, Michigan. Brett Vander Kamp, founder of New Holland Brewing Company, sees a lot of advantages for New Holland: “We are excited to be joining forces with Pabst as we combine the strengths of two great American companies. Pabst’s management of our wholesale network will help us accelerate growth and drive success at the shelf.”

The partnership with New Holland strengthens Pabst’s presence in the craft beer market and completes the offering to national customers. American beer entrepreneur Eugene Kashper, who acquired Pabst two years ago in a partnership with San Francisco–based private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners is also excited about his new partner: “We are thrilled to be working with Brett and New Holland. Brett is a passionate brand owner who knows his business. He is programmed with the DNA of New Holland’s brands and is committed to using our platform’s capabilities to maximize success. This is a true long-term partnership on both sides.”
