ThaiBev has announced a comprehensive reorganization of its corporate structure and leadership team, effective October 1. The company is consolidating its core operations into four distinct product groups: spirits, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food.
This structural reshuffle aims to enhance cross-category synergies and accelerate the development of each product group. According to a filing with the Singapore Exchange, the reorganization provides executives with broader responsibilities and develops a new generation of leaders to ensure sustainable business growth in line with the company's PASSION 2030 ambition. The strategic shift follows the company's recent commitment of more than USD 500 million for its ASEAN expansion (inside.beer, 28.09.2025).
While the overarching structure is changing, the top tier of leadership remains stable. Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi continues to helm the group as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Chairman, alongside his son Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, who retains his position as Group Chief Executive Officer. This continuity aligns with the generational wealth transfer initiated last year, which saw ownership split among the billionaire's children while retaining centralized control (inside.beer, 24.06.2025).
As part of the executive reshuffle, Rahul John Colaco will take on the role of Chief Non-Alcoholic Beverage Product Group, while continuing to serve in his current capacity as Chief Brand and Commercial Management. Meanwhile, Kanoknart Rangsithienchai is stepping down from her role as 2nd Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, prompting a broader realignment of the vice-chair roles among senior executives like Ueychai Tantha-Obhas and Pisanu Vichiensanth. Previously, the company had also evaluated spinning off its beer division, including the flagship brand Chang, through an IPO or partnership, though it now opts to consolidate the unit under the new internal framework (inside.beer, 01.10.2024).
