USA: Brooklyn Brewery Partners with U.S. Beverage for National Expansion

Brooklyn Brewery, one of the pioneers of the American craft beer movement, has announced a nationwide sales partnership with United States Beverage (USB), one of the country’s largest independent beer importers. Starting November 1, 2025, USB will serve as Brooklyn Brewery’s exclusive U.S. sales partner, managing sales for the brewery’s full portfolio in all 50 states.

According to Robin Ottaway, President of Brooklyn Brewery, the collaboration represents “the next chapter” for the brand. While USB will lead national sales operations, Brooklyn Brewery will retain ownership and control over its brand, production, logistics, marketing, and financial management. The existing distributor network will remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition for current partners and retailers.

Justin Fisch, CEO of United States Beverage, highlighted the strategic alignment of the partnership: “Brooklyn Brewery represents everything we look for in a partnership — great products, quality, and a passionate team with a long-term vision.” USB’s national sales force will work alongside Brooklyn Brewery’s distributor and retail partners to enhance market penetration and visibility, expanding the brewery’s presence across on-premise and off-premise channels.

The collaboration will cover Brooklyn Brewery’s established favorites such as Brooklyn Lager, Brooklyn Pilsner, and East IPA, as well as limited releases like Black Ops and Summer Ale. It also supports the continued rollout of newer innovations like Fonio Rising Pale Ale and Playa de Brooklyn, along with the brewery’s fast-growing non-alcoholic range.

Founded in 1988 in Brooklyn, New York, the brewery has grown from a local craft innovator into a globally recognized brand distributed in over 30 countries. Meanwhile, United States Beverage, founded in 1997, is America’s largest independent beer importer, representing renowned international brands such as Estrella Damm, Erdinger, Birra Moretti, Tiger (Beer), and Innis & Gunn.

With this partnership, Brooklyn Brewery seeks to strengthen its footprint in a maturing U.S. craft beer market and bring renewed energy to its national expansion strategy.
