USA/UK: Diageo and Diddy Settle Longstanding Disputes

Sean "Diddy" Combs and Diageo have officially put an end to their longstanding disputes, marking a resolution to a legal battle that began when Combs filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against the international spirit company.

The American rapper, actor, and record producer, formerly known as P Diddy and Puff Daddy, had accused Diageo of failing to support marketing agreements related to Ciroc vodka and DeLeón tequila, leading to the termination of their 15-year working relationship last June (inside.beer, 27.6.2023).

In a joint statement, both parties announced the settlement, with Combs withdrawing all allegations and voluntarily dismissing his lawsuits against Diageo.

The statement confirms that there is no ongoing business relationship between Diageo and Mr. Combs, particularly concerning Cîroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns.
